We are very proud of our very significant contribution to dentistry, for more than 130 years! 

When the Swiss dental technician Arnold Biber placed an advertisement announcing the opening of his laboratory in Pforzheim Germany in October 1886, no one could have foreseen that this was the start of a dental company with operations all over the world.

For well over a century, Dentaurum has grown from its origins as a simple dental laboratory to a dental company with operations worldwide. The secret of our success is our passion for the best possible products, close contact with our customers and our keen interest in innovations that lead to the development of a vast array of additional new products and services.

As an owner-managed family company in its fourth generation, we are independent and flexible and we are in a position to respond quickly in a focused manner to market changes. We continuously invest in new technologies and optimising our processes to economise on valuable resources.

Challenges

  • Dentaurum needed to have the capabilities to have an updated website to have the capabilities that suit B2B & B2C customers with integration to their MYOB AccountRight accounting software
  • Due to Dentaurum having a range of products being fairly bulky they needed the capability to be able to quote the customer after purchase for freight as prices change depending on weight and distance that would sync back to their MYOB AccountRight accounting package.
  • Dentaurum wanted to provide customers with featured products
  • Dentaurum wanted to provide customers with related products
  • Dentaurum has a number of sales reps that need to order on behalf of customers whilst on the road.

 

Solution

  • Web Ninja has the capabilities to flag Bulky Items with Dentarum MYOB AccountRight system allowing the customer to see the freight will be TBC on checkout.
  • Web Ninja’s system allows for featured products to be displayed on the home page, that can be updated automatically from their MYOB AccountRight accounting system.
  • Web Ninja’s system allows for related products to be displayed on the product, that can be updated via their MYOB AccountRight accounting system. Related products have resulted in an increase in the average sales order.
  • Web Ninja’s system allows for featured products to be displayed on the home page, that can be updated automatically from their MYOB AccountRight accounting system.

        

Results

  • Dentaurum has both B2B & B2C capabilities, allowing retail customers to be set up specifically as cash sales and login as a guest only seeing the retail pricing. Whilst the Wholesale customer's login in using their credentials to see their specific information and pricing. Customers can see backorders if any (linked to MYOB AccountRight), order quickly via Web Ninja's 'quickpick' pantry style ordering page, create and order template to use again and even look up, print and pay an invoice
  • Web Ninja’s Sales Rep module allowed Dentaurum to place orders on behalf of customers in the instance when a customer calls the sales rep up to place an order. The Sales Rep can place the order and all the information can go through on behalf of the debtor, with all the correct billing and shipping information.
  • Web Ninja has the capabilities to flag Bulky Items with Dentaurum MYOB Exo system allowing the customer to see the freight will be TBC on checkout.
